Aaron Finch was raised in Colac, Victoria, Australia, and his siblings. He was passionate about cricket from childhood. From childhood, he used to play cricket with his siblings. He played as a wicketkeeper-batsman. Later he put his focus on batting.
Career
Aaron Finch started his career in 2006 by representing Australia at the under-19 world cup. His primary career started in 2007 against India. He is known as Finchy. In the 2009-2010 season, he was selected in Victoria, and he scored his maiden first-class century. After his outstanding performance in the Sheffield Shield and Pura Cup, he is known as Victoria’s strength. Later, in the Big Bash t-20 tournament, he scored 189 runs.
He took his position just after Kieron Pollard and earned a place in the Rajasthan team in the Indian t-20 league. Delhi franchise was impressed by Finch and signed him for a fourth and fifth season in 2011. After that, he replaced Michael Clarke in Pune Squad. In 2015, he was the 1st player who score 1000 runs in the Big Bash League. He plays as Australia’s captain many times as he represents his team very well.
His 1st ODI was on January 11, 2013, against the Sri Lanka cricket team at Melbourne cricket ground. His 1st Test series was on October 7, 2018, Against the Pakistan cricket team at Dubai International Cricket Ground. He is currently playing in the IPL with team Kolkata Knight Riders. His last T20I match was against Pakistan on April 5, 2022.
