Jae Liew made her acting debut in the 2013 film 3 Peas in a Pod, which starred Michelle Chong. She portrayed university student Penny Yang alongside former U-KISS member Alexander Lee Eusebio and Fahrenheit actor Calvin Chen. She was given the opportunity to play a supporting role in the Singaporean TV drama Scrum! with Singaporean actress Felicia Chin and Taiwanese actor Chris Lee after the movie’s release and her casting.
She was awarded supporting roles in the 2015 Mediacorp drama “Tiger Mum” on Channel 8, which received the highest ratings in 2016. Additionally, she was shown in “The Journey: A New Home.” She appeared in Tanglin, the first long-form drama TV program on the free-to-air channel, this year as Diana Tong. Jae also appeared on the cover of the final edition of FHM Singapore, which was published in Singapore.
She played the lead in the Tamil film Muthar Kanave in 2016 in addition to her involvement in the film Tanglin. During Pradhana Vizha 2016, the movie received the Best Telemovie Award. Along with fellow cast member Nat Ho, the actress made her debut in 2017 by appearing on the cover of the Singaporean publication 8 days.
