Early Life
Sofia Richie was born to Lionel Richie and his second wife Diane Alexander in Los Angeles, California on August 24, 1998. Her older siblings are Miles Richie and Nicole Richie. Michael Jackson, a singer, served as godfather to Sofia Richie. She recalled that her favorite childhood experiences included trips to Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch, and she grew close to his daughter Paris.
The pressure to live up to her father’s reputation in the music business, however, led her to abandon her plans for a music career. In 2014, she made several appearances in Candidly Nicole, a reality television program hosted by her sister Nicole.

Sofia Richie began her professional life as a model and fashion designer. She began her first job in an American Teen Vogue when she was 14 years old. Later, she was cast for an advertisement in Los Angeles by the Mary Grace Swim company. She continued to collaborate with numerous modeling agencies and major periodicals.
Finally, in 2016, Sofia made her runway debut during New York Fashion Week. Later, she appeared in advertisements for numerous brands, including Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, DL1961 & Michael Kors.
